Website development is a broad term for any activity related to developing a website for the World Wide Web or an intranet. This can include e-commerce business development, web design, web content development, client-side or server-side scripting, and web server configuration. Website Development can range from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses, or social network services.

This Certificate programme will introduce learners to the world of website development, teach learners how to develop their own unique websites, and help them to individualize their skills, and perfect intricate detail.

Pre-requisite:
Knowledge, comprehension and application of language at NQF Level 3/Grade 11 or equivalent.

Basic knowledge, comprehension and application of mathematics or Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3/Grade 11 or equivalent.
